Judith Barnes - Fashion Designer

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Judith Barnes developed an interest in art from the tender age of five. Her budding ability as a sketch artist was developed and nurtured when Ms Barnes migrated to Miami at age seven. By the time she was nine years old, Judith had developed an interest in fashion designing and this passion grew despite a lack of family support.

After graduating high school back in Jamaica, Barnes decided to pursue a college Degree in Fashion Designing and Marketing. At the American Intercontinental University, she won many awards for “best designer” and was featured on the university’s website and in many newspaper articles for prestigious papers including the Sun Sentinel and the Miami Herald. As a result she has now been operating her own fashion business for over ten years.

Ms Barnes designs have been featured on fashion shows for: churches; banquets; college parties; and high visibility fund raisers for worthy causes. Her goal is to take Judy’s Barnes Couture to the next level, international success.
